My name is Florence Mellon and I am from Bayonne, in France. I hold a master’s degree in Education and I have taught for several years as a certified teacher in elementary schools in south west of France and Paris. My experience as a teacher brought me to Haïti where I was an Educational Advisor for two years working for an NGO. My husband, children and I have enjoyed living in France, Florida, Texas, Brazil and Thailand. In Dallas I have taught French as a second language for six years at the Covenant School and I have been a substitute teacher at the Dallas International School and at the lower school at Hockaday. In 2012, I started my own private French tutoring school.

Florence is an amazing teacher. She taught my kids for a couple of years. They were looking forward to her classes. She makes learning french enjoyable. The cooking lessons and chocolates for Christmas were a highlight for sure. While having a good time , they learn grammar and spelling of that rigorous language. I highly recommend Florence for your kids , she is talented and passionate about teaching.

She has run courses for French children who need to practice their mother tongue, especially in writing.
